Definitely for women that no longer qualify in the dating market. Not to mention, black Americans are foreigners out there. Unless you can make a lot of money from outlets such as RUclips, tik Tok or Instagram, things will get real interesting. I see many people who can no longer make a living podcasting, run right back to the US from Thailand, African contents, Philippines, Colombia. Because the opportunities for work are slim to none. And pay absolutely nothing compared to what Americans are used to working for. What the average American would want to know, is about job opportunities. There are tons of women doing videos about how much of a mistake it was to sell everything, pack up, and go to Africa. Being both a foreigner and a western woman was a bad experience for many.

I also I am wanting to move abroad. I was thinking about Panama City and then I was thinking about Costa Rica. But I'm willing to look other places too. And I am older and I do have a few medical problems. But I'm OK, so I really need to know how I can make it.🎉

I really liked the way the two guest grounded the issue of living abroad… it’s not all fun and free. It’s challenging, stressful and going into it with a clear mind that the work isn’t over.

I live in England. I have a lot of American friends and I was surprised how fast and stressed their lives were when I visited. She was also shocked at how the pace of life is slower in England. And as you said it is even SLOWER in countries such as Mexico, the Mediterranean, and Africa. Same as most of Asia.

What part of Mexico did the 2 ladies at the bottom say they love in? I’m researching areas in Mexico now. I’ve been trying to get my spinach and artichoke dip on shelves but it’s so hard in America. Everything is Taxed and so expensive and profit margins are so small after it’s all said it done. I don’t have any friends or much family but I’m married with kids and saving up to move SOLO. I’m 40 and exhausted already. I can’t do this another 25 years or until death. About to start Spanish classes to learn the basics but I want to be fully bilingual in 4 years or less.

What's so interesting to me is when I worked in corporate firms years ago, I used to comment to women I faced daily (I never fit in), how nobody ever asked each other anything about themselves unattached to job titles/tasks. The proverbial question is, "What do you do?" When I'd point out what we do is not who we are, w/o fail I got blank stares.
